Merry Xmas!!!^o^

Merry Christmas everybody! Since Christmas is my favorite holiday, today, I will not only introduce what food I made, but share some beautiful picture of Christmas with you guys!

I had dinner with some of my friends on Christmas day. We had hotpot, and had a wonderful time being together! Since I enjoy cooking, I volunteered to cook for my friends. We ate a lot of things such as sticky rice balls, rice cakes, pork, mutton, enoki mushroom and so on. It wasn’t very difficult to cook hotpot; however, for me, the most important thing was that I could enjoy the time hanging out and chatting with my friends through cooking!

I also went to Xinyi district of Taipei city, where was full of Christmas decorations and so crowded with people. I was so excited because this was the first time I visited there during Christmas season. The atmosphere was so warm that I felt like being in a Christmas party, and everyone was so enthusiastic to interact with me. There was a big Christmas tree beside Taipei Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Block A11. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help taking a lot of pictures!

I had a very wonderful time on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and I hope next year, when Christmas is around the corner again, I can prepare a big Christmas meal and share it with my friends together!

The first time I cooked!

After sharing some of the dishes I made these days, today, I want to share you guys what happened to me when I cooked for the first time.

I started to cook when I was in junior high school, and I still remember I felt so nervous that my hands couldn't stop shaking. My grandma patiently taught me how to cook rice omelet; however, I still couldn't do it well. I thought the most difficult part was to fry eggs. I was afraid that the oil might splash on me; therefore, as soon as I poured the egg mixture into the wok, I screamed and ran away, leaving my grandma alone to fight with the "mess" I made.

Now, I am not afraid of frying eggs anymore. Moreover, I have learned many dishes after that embarrassing experience. For me, cooking is an enjoyable thing!:-)
