Today what I want to share with you guys are the food I made on Dec,31. Rather than going out with my friends to celebrate and welcome the coming of 2013, I chose to stay at home to accompany my family! My grandma then decided to teach me how to cook 麵疙瘩. Beginning with a bowl of flour, I blended it with some water and made it become a dough. I kneaded the dough into several little pieces and cooked them with middle fire. Adding some vegetables and some flavoring when it was about to be cooked, and it was finished!!!:-)
I thought I was very successful in making 麵疙瘩 this time since it was very "Q"^^ However, what made me so happy and satisfied was the time I cooked with my grandma and shared my work with my grandpa. I think this was a very special day for me in the last day of 2012!!!
Wow I am so envious of you that you spent the last day of 2012 in such a meaningful way! You remind me of my grandfather, who has passed away many years ago. I wish that I could accompanied him and made dishes for them, but there is not a chance anymore. I determined that your family is so proud of you and so glad to have such a sweet and versatile girl like you!
回覆刪除麵疙瘩!(?) I think it is much harder to cook than noodles because the size of its every pieces are not the same, so the cooking time is not easy to control. But I still love to have it! XD I think it is hard for a college freshman to spend a few hours cooking at home, not to mention in this kind of special day! Your courage would make you to gain more different but also meaningful experience. :D
